Eng. Dr. Harrison E. Mutikanga

Dr. Mutikanga is a registered Civil Engineer in Uganda with 20 years’ experience in utility operations and management. He specializes performance management, business plan development, non-revenue water management, and infrastructure asset management. He has served as the General Manager for National Water and Sewerage Corporation(NWSC) – Kampala;and as a part-time Senior Lecturer at Uganda Christian University, Mukono in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He is currently the CEO of Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited.

Dr. Mutikanga has keen interest in research and his research interests are in the areas of strategic asset management, transformational leadership and change management, utility reforms and productivity, performance evaluation and benchmarking, and multi-criteria decision analysis. He has published over 15 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings.

Direct Applicants
All candidates who attained 'Member' of UIPE before the commencement of the UIPE/ERB Joint Assessment Committee (JAC) are required to submit a Technical Report and Career Report plus attending a Board Interview. In addition they apply for registration by filling ERB Form ERA 1, and attaching copies of certificates for the Board's processing of the documentation.
